Caitlin is currently completing her Post-Doctoral Fellowship. She has experience and training with a range of ages with a particular focus on children, adolescents, and families. Diagnostically, Caitlin has worked with a variety of symptoms and presenting concerns, most frequently anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity, and behavioral diagnoses. When working with individuals and families, Caitlin use a combination of person-centered, insight-oriented, relational, and mindfulness strategies to decrease current symptomatology and increase wellbeing. She relies on play therapy, traditional talk therapy, or a combination of the two based on her client’s presenting concerns and developmental level. She also has an interest in health psychology and strives to approach her work from a biopsychosocial framework. Additionally, issues of diversity and understanding each individual from their unique point of view, as well as consultation with other providers, are important parts of her practice. She additionally administers psychological assessments, particularly cognitive, attention-deficit, and emotional batteries. She also has specialized training in assessment of autism spectrum disorder.
