Inpatient Hospital Care

Inpatient Hospitalization Program

With no acute care hospital beds currently serving the youth in our community, our Inpatient Services will provide children and adolescents and their families with the whole continuum of care needed to fully recover from a behavioral health crisis.

MiraCare Center in Tinley Park is prepared to accommodate short hospital stays for up to 30 patients with the staffing and resources patients need to stabilize in a safe environment built specifically for them. Patients in our Inpatient Hospitalization Program receive 24/7 care in our facility. Inpatient Services also provide multi-disciplinary treatment through group, individual and family therapy sessions. These intensive treatment options focus on thorough assessment and symptom stabilization while working on healthy living skills.

MiraCare staff provides each patient and family with a thorough assessment to accurately determine the most appropriate level of treatment.

Professional coordination of care exists between medical, psychological and diagnostic providers prior to and throughout the hospital stay.

Ongoing communication is maintained with the child, parents and existing healthcare provider during hospitalization, all working together in one collaborative environment.
