Stephanie is a Doctoral Intern conducting therapy and assessment services at MiraCare. She is currently in her final year of her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Albizu University. Stephanie began her training in a Community Mental Health Clinic working with underprivileged children and adolescents with a variety of learning, cognitive, personality, mood, and trauma-based disorders. She later received additional, neuropsychological specific training with pediatric and adult populations in a medical clinic setting. Stephanie has in-depth training in neuropsychological assessment and cognitive rehabilitation, with a focus on neurodevelopmental disorders and traumatic brain injury. She has experience with individual, group, and family therapy. She is proficient in a wide array of neuropsychological assessments as well as psychological, psychodiagnostics, and diagnostic evaluations. Stephanie aims to provide a collaborative, enriching, and empathetic therapeutic space in efforts to help every patient reach their goals. She places an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with behavioral modification strategies which examines the patient’s relationship between their thought patterns, emotional reactions, and behavioral response.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys snuggling with her dogs, practicing yoga, traveling, reading, and trying out popular food spots around the city.
