Sydney has experience providing individual and couples services. She has worked as a clinical therapist in school districts and community counseling centers with individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds. She has also provided psychological testing services in outpatient hospital settings to children, adolescents, and young adults.
Her style of therapy is holistic and collaborative as she works closely with clients and other providers to support healing and growth. She generally uses person-centered, relationally based, and insight-oriented interventions but tailors interventions based on the individual. Additionally, Sydney is passionate about comprehensive psychological assessment for children and adolescents. She strives to provide reports and treatment plans that help the client feel understood and aid in their growth journey.
Sydney is a Denver, CO native, but has spent her academic career in Los Angeles, CA. She now lives in Chicago with her partner. She has many interests including cooking, playing guitar, running, and watching movies/shows. She also loves traveling and has worked abroad.
