Dr. Taylor Bonno has been practicing at MiraCare since August 2020. Most of her clinical experience involves treatment with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings. Taylor believes each client comes to treatment as the expert on his/her/their life, and she uses this invaluable perspective to guide treatment in addition to a combination of evidence-based approaches. Conceptually, she believes that much of human suffering is a result of attempts to change, to avoid, or to control thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. While this may be helpful in the short term, such patterns are ultimately known to keep us from living the life we want and lead us to feeling stuck. Because of this, Taylor often proposes psychological flexibility as a goal in treatment, which comprises of many different ideas and tools that her clients can choose from for use in their daily lives to help them become unstuck and move forward. When she’s not with clients, Taylor enjoys hiking, listening to true crime and comedy podcasts, decorating, cooking/baking, and looking up houses to flip on Zillow.
