Aris Potash is a Doctoral Intern conducting therapy in both outpatient and acute care settings at MiraCare. She is currently in the final year of her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. Aris has worked with clients across the lifespan in a variety of settings including: outpatient settings and hospital based Inpatient and PHP programs. Aris enjoys building a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients through the use of kindness, compassion, humor, empathy, and validation. While providing therapy, Aris strives to take a strength-based approach with her clients while integrating acceptance and commitment therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness techniques into her work. Aris has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, and families as they navigate complex emotions, life transitions, stressors, and relationships in their lives. Aris appreciates opportunities to laugh in session and enjoys seeing client’s growth and resilience during therapy. Further, Aris is committed to fostering healing, self-compassion, and meaningful change within her clients’ lives.

In her free time, Aris enjoys reading, watching comedic television shows, and spending quality time with her partner, friends, and family. Aris also enjoys yoga, painting, and finding new recipes to cook.
