Ellen is a Doctoral Intern conducting outpatient therapy and in-patient services at MiraCare Behavioral Health. She is currently completing her final year in clinical psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. During her training, Ellen has provided therapeutic services with children, adults and families in juvenile detention, therapeutic day schools and in private practice. Ellen’s focus is to empathically understand her clients to help them develop more satisfying relationships with themselves and others. Ellen draws from a strong foundation in cognitive, emotional, and somatic practices to help her clients discover and hone a greater capacity to understand themselves and challenges inherent to school, work and relationships. Ellen aims to meet her clients right where they are with a curiosity about the experiences that have shaped them. Ellen is an ally to individuals with intersecting and diverse cultural, spiritual, gender, and sexual identities.
In her free time, Ellen enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring Chicago and being in nature.
