Dr. Thomas is a Clinical Neuropsychology Fellow conducting assessment services at MiraCare. She completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Midwestern University, Glendale. Dr. Thomas has a diverse background spanning a variety of settings, including private practice, forensics, and community mental health. Her primary focus is conducting comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults, including emotional health, social functioning, psychoeducational difficulties, and neurodevelopmental disorders, showcasing her comprehensive approach to understanding cognitive and emotional well-being. She believes that obtaining multiple data sources is vital to understanding an individual as a whole and aims to help each client feel understood and confident with their treatment plan and recommendations moving forward. She is committed to establishing a safe and reassuring space for children and adolescents during psychological assessments.
Dr. Thomas believes that psychological assessment offers unparalleled insight into one’s psychological health and overall functioning, which is integral to determining an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan. In addition to conducting evaluations, Dr. Thomas has worked as a therapist across the lifespan, which has helped her to build a strong understanding of the therapeutic process and individual growth over time, so her evaluations can assist a client’s care team today in developing their treatment plans. Dr. Thomas feels honored and committed to helping children, adolescents, and families achieve a full and meaningful life.
