Mayce is a licensed therapist conducting individual, group, and family therapy services at Miracare. She works with children, adolescents, and adults with various backgrounds and symptoms. Prior to Miracare, she worked with all ages at an inpatient psychiatric unit and private practice settings.
Mayce’s outpatient clinical practice includes therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, and families for trauma, anxiety/depressive disorders, identity development, and life transitions. Mayce takes an eclectic approach in session, as she recognizes the value of tailoring therapy to meet the goals and needs of her clients. She uses Client-Centered Therapy as her foundational approach and aims to address the impact of trauma on the body. She also utilizes an integrated, culturally sensitive approach when working with clients. She views therapy as a collaborative process and strives to provide a laid-back and non-judgmental environment that promotes healing and growth. Mayce loves to incorporate humor and her personality in session to create a lighthearted atmosphere, and to help build authentic relationships.
She aims to empower and validate her clients as they slowly unpack the joyous and difficult parts of their lives.
