Dr. Begich has been practicing at MiraCare Neuro Behavioral Health since 2013 and has been working clinically since 2009. She considers herself to be a generalist and has a broad range of experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse clinical concerns. She also has experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, college counseling, and community mental health. In addition to providing individual therapy, Dr. Begich discovered an interest in neurofeedback and biofeedback in 2014, became Board Certified in Neurofeedback in 2018, and is currently the Director of Psychoneurotherapy (PNT) at MiraCare. She frequently incorporates these treatments into her therapeutic approach to help improve the mind-body connection. Therapeutically, she typically works from a diversity-informed, cognitive behavioral, insight-oriented, and relational psychodynamic approach with the ability to draw on other modalities as needed. When working with children, she works from a prescriptive play therapy approach tailoring specific interventions to the patient’s needs. In addition to providing individual therapy and PNT to patients, Dr. Begich is also an individual therapy supervisor for our APA-approved internship program, supervising both pre-doctoral interns and post-doctoral fellows.
Outside of the office, Dr. Begich enjoys being outdoors, traveling, trying new foods, experiencing new cultures, cooking, and baking. She also enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her pets.
