Seve is currently a doctoral intern conducting therapy and assessment services at MiraCare for the 2024-2025 training year. Seve is currently in his fifth year of his training program at Adler University. During Seve’s training, he has worked with children in both outpatient and hospital based IOP and PHP settings, as well as adults in outpatient settings. Seve has worked with a patient population that was ethnically diverse, most of which were of lower SES, and many of whom identified as LGBTQ. Seve utilizes an integrative approach of cognitive behavioral, existential and narrative therapy to conceptualize and treat the clients he works with. He utilizes these therapy styles to help patients overcome the areas they are struggling in regarding the 4 principles of the human experience. He helps the individual learn to challenge their own narrative and explore new, more positive and self-serving thought patterns.
Seve has also conducted academic based assessments, psychological testing, scoring, and report writing, while also providing age appropriate feedback sessions with the clients and their parents when applicable. Seve utilizes multiple theories to fully conceptualize the individuals current presentation and utilizes this understanding to better help them process the stresses of daily living and increase their quality of life. Seve is extremely honored for the opportunity to work with individuals who are struggling and help guide them towards bettering themselves.
